THANK GOD!

Well, I can breathe a HUGE sign of relief now.

To be honest, I was quite happy to read about the SC Movie jump to Dreamworks. Here are a few reasons why...

#1 To be honest, I never liked Berg for this project. He had an interview on MovieHole.net and was listing all these reasons why he was looking forward to making the movie, but said nothing about being a Splinter Cell fan. He gushed on and on about Bourne as a matter of fact. And, judging by the fact that he was going to cast Mark Wahlberg as Sam, that leads me to believe he thought he was making Bourne.

#2 Dreamworks is awesome. For those of you who aren't fimilair with movie studios/production companies...let me explain.

Dreamworks is the company that made Shrek, and is also Steven Speilbergs company. If you have ever noticed the "SKG" that is with the Dreamworks logo, "SKG" stands for "Speilberg, Katzenberg and Geffen". Now don't get me wrong, I don't think Speilberg would do Splitner Cell, but do you think Speilberg has anyone but the very best working for him?

#3 Paramount is going through some exec changes... which is what delayed SC:TM (Splinter Cell: The Movie). Now that it has moved on to another studio, I am hoping to be posting news soon.

The only downside to this is the way this could possibly effect the upcoming book, "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Operation Barracuda". We all know by now that the author had written the book to foreshadow events in the movie, but now the old script has been thrown out. Benson assured me this would not effect the date of release, November 1st, but I don't know how this will play out with the new script.

Also, I want to give a big thank you to everyone who has visited. On the 14th, I had 3,119 visitors, in three months. That is awesome. This site is only three months old but I have been tremendously blessed. There are a few people I HAVE to thank.
