Essentials is just that.

Boy I was a wreck today!

Wednesday was the day I, and everyone who isn't on the East coast, got my hands on Splinter Cell Essentials. I managed to sit through all my classes and when I finally made it to my local Game Stop...no game...

WHAT?????

UPS truck was late and it hadn't arrived yet. =-O

So, I killed about an hour playing GRAW on their 360 on display. That game kicks major ass btw...

After that I went back out into the mall. Right next door to Game Stop is a pet store. So, I sat in a chair and watched all the parents pull thier kids, kicking and screaming, away from the puppies in the front display. I also played a little The Sims 2 on my PSP.

After three hours...THREE HOURS...of waiting the UPS man showed up. I followed him in and got my game! Thank God! FINALLY!

I got home at around 4 p.m. and did the usual home for the day things. Ate dinner and took a shower etc...by the time I sat down to play it was probably around 6 p.m. At about 4:45 a.m. this morning I had defeated it. I have to be up at 6 a.m. so I've been dragging all day, but it was worth it.

I don't want to spoil the surprise for anyone. But that NSA HQ level was so beyond awesome! I want to see that level on my XBox someday! I also want to compliment Michael Lee on his writing job. I knew going into it JT Petty didn't write Essentials, so I was worried about the writing quality, but Lee did a great job. Big ups to everyone at Ubi Mon for another SC success. That place has to have the most talented group of devs on the planet because I have honestly just loved every game that has come out of there.

Now, as far as Double Agent is concerned....

The sooner the better boys! Vaminos!

Jackie gets the "Vth Freedom".

Well If you didn't see the news post at the TFS news section, I have just completed my first few days as a moderator at official Splinter Cell forums, and it has been a learning expierence, to say the least.

I wish people at the IMDB forums were as nice as they are Ubisoft.

Its been a mixture of good and bad. I've made alot of friends, and you know I can never have enough people to chat with about Sam. But there has also been 2 bad apples in the barrel. I was made a mod on Thursday, now it's Tuesday and I have already had to IP ban two people! I'm at a point where I don't want to upset the boss lady so I am getting an opinion from a more expierence mod before doing anything more than a warning.

Not only am I getting to know alot of the Splinter Cell community, but I have made an awesome business deal for TFS.

One of the biggest things I wanted to do when creating TFS was to start an all female SC versus/coop clan. But, we are coming up on a year of being up and so far there has been no interest in the TFS clan so I've decided to let it go. I would say TFS has been successful in general so I can't complain if one thing didn't work out.

But I still wanted a place where I could play with my friends Chris and Derwen, so I decided to join forces with Chris and intergrated his Vth Freedom Clan into TFS! It's not an all female clan, but it is a place where very talented people of both genders go to play. I know that the XBox section of the clan needs to be built up so if you are reading this, play on either XBox and would like to join me for some coop sometimes, email me or check out the Vth Freedom site. Now, tell me is that not one of the best clan websites you have ever seen?!

I think that within the last few days I have merged with the Ubisoft forums and the Vth Freedom clan, and I think they are both the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
